FAMILY Adoption FAQ
Sponsoring vs. Donating
When you sponsor (or “adopt”) a family, you and your own family or group will shop, select, and deliver school supplies (or holiday gifts) for your selected recipient(s).
When you donate to FHF, you contribute your financial resources so that our team or other volunteers may shop for a family.
Can I meet the family?
No, you cannot meet the family you adopt or sponsor in order to protect their privacy. But you are welcome to leave them an encouraging note if you shop for their gifts!
